Privacy Policy – My Tiny Ventures: Idle Tycoon

Dashpal Oy · Effective 2026-09-08

My Tiny Ventures: Idle Tycoon ("the game") is published by Dashpal Oy, a company registered in Finland ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data is processed when you play, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the game has no account, your progress stays on your device, and what leaves the device is what the advertising SDK needs to show ads plus anonymous gameplay statistics you can switch off in the settings.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Dashpal Oy, Unioninkatu 45 a 8, 00170 Helsinki, Finland. Contact: support@dashpal.app.

What we do not collect

Usage statistics

To see whether the game works and where players get stuck, the game sends us anonymous gameplay events: for example that a session started, how long it lasted, that the tutorial was finished, that an upgrade was bought with in-game money, that a reward ad was offered, watched or skipped, and that a reminder notification opened the game. Each event carries the app version, the platform (Android, iOS or web) and a random usage-data id that the game makes up on its first launch. The id is not linked to your device's identifiers, to an account or to you; it only lets us count the same install once.

DataPurpose
Random usage-data id and a random session idCounting players and sessions, retention
Gameplay events and their timestamps (sessions, tutorial, purchases with in-game currency, business progress, reward-ad offers and outcomes, notification opens, save recovery)Product analytics: balancing, finding bugs, judging what to build
App version, build and platformTelling versions apart when something breaks

The events are received by a small service on our own domain and stored in PostHog (PostHog Inc.), a product-analytics service whose EU cloud we use; the data is hosted in the European Union. Your IP address is seen by our service only to receive the request and is not stored with the events; no location is derived from it. We keep the events for 12 months, after which they are deleted.

You can switch this off at any time: Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data. Nothing further is sent after that, including events queued while offline. The same screen shows your usage-data id; quoting it lets us delete the events already stored for your install (see the data deletion page).

Advertising

The game is free and shows optional rewarded video ads. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited for players in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland; Google LLC elsewhere). To request and show an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the game processes:

DataPurpose
Advertising identifier (Android advertising ID or, on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking) and app set IDAd delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention
IP address, processed transientlyApproximate region for ad selection and legal requirements
Interactions with ads (impressions, clicks, rewards earned)Ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention
Device and app diagnostics (device model, OS version, crash and performance data of the ad SDK)Ad delivery, analytics, fraud prevention

This data is shared with Google and, through Google's ad auction, with the advertising partners Google works with. Google's own privacy policy and its description of how it uses data from apps that use its services apply: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices about ads

Legal basis

Personalised advertising is based on your consent. Non-personalised (contextual) advertising, ad measurement and fraud prevention are based on our legitimate interest in funding a free game, balanced against the limited nature of the data involved. The anonymous usage statistics are based on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the game, balanced by the absence of any identifier tied to you and by the switch that turns them off.

Retention

Usage statistics are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Google retains advertising data according to its own policies. Emails you send to us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

International transfers

Usage statistics are stored in the European Union. Google may process advertising data outside the EEA, including in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@dashpal.app. How deletion works in practice is explained on our data deletion page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Finland that is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Changes

If the game starts processing data in a new way, this page will be updated and the date above will change. Material changes are also reflected in the privacy sections of the app stores.
